Alberta is a musician and singer/songwriter. Born and raised in the south of France, he has lived in Paris, in Rennes and then in Marseille. Since 2015, he has been developing his music between DIY French song and melancholic pop, cultivating a taste for melodic exploration. Alberta is a self-taught composer, inspired (among others) by Robert Wyatt and Brian
Wilson, singing a poetry of disillusion that he sometimes dresses up with pronounced effects. He accompanies himself with twisted guitar melodies and his 'Carpenter' synthesizers (Juno/DX7). Committed to music that is accessible to all, far removed from hyper-production or main stream aesthetics, he tackles his favorite themes: love, loss and romance. With his duo Alligator, he released his debut album "Octets" (La Souterraine) in 2016. The album made quite an impact, with the track Rafale getting a lot of airplay. Their second album, "Torrents", released in 2022, was noticed by the specialist press.

Alberta est musicien et auteur / compositeur. Originaire du Sud de la France, il vit à Paris, à Rennes puis à Marseille. Depuis 2015, il fait évoluer son écriture musicale entre chanson française DIY et pop mélancolique, cultivant le goût de l’exploration mélodique.
Autodidacte de la composition, inspiré (entre autres) par Robert Wyatt et Brian Wilson, Alberta chante une poésie de la désillusion qu’il maquille parfois d’effets prononcés. Il s’accompagne de mélodies de guitare tordues et de ses synthétiseurs « Carpenter »
(Juno/DX7). Engagé pour une musique accessible à tou.te.s, éloignée de l’hyper production ou de
